Founder & Senior Pastor of Church for the Harvest
Pastor Mike’s experience in ministry as youth pastor, associate pastor, and overseas Missions director has enabled him to establish a successful, thriving church in Alexandria. Mike is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. He furthered his education at the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, where he received his B.A., M.A. and ThD in counseling and theology.
Michael is married to Rhonda and they have three children, Zac, Destiny and Moriah. His ministry has enabled him to travel extensively, preaching and teaching in various countries such as: Cuba, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Japan, Okinawa, Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
In his free time Mike enjoys weightlifting, physical fitness and reading.
His passion is to empower men and women to step into their God directed destinies. He has compassion for the lost and deeply believes that prayer is the foundation from which all ministries are born.
Rhonda is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas where she focused on counseling. After graduating, she spent three years serving at Teen Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas sharing her life of purity and offering grace and new hope to those searching for a new beginning. She has happily served in youth and church ministry along with her husband Mike since 1993. She currently co-pastors Church for the Harvest with him. Her greatest joy and delight is being a wife to Mike and a mother to their three amazing children, Zac, Destiny, and Moriah.
Rhonda is passionate about seeing women of all ages find fulfillment and purpose in their role as daughters of Jesus and as wives and mothers. She looks forward to international travel with her husband, having the opportunity to share that passion with women of all cultures and nations.
Lauren has had the privilege of serving as Worship Director at Church For The Harvest since it started in 2000. She is passionate about working with people to discover the gifts God has put in them and seeing people encounter Jesus through worship. Lauren enjoys reading, travel and teaching piano lessons. She is married to her childhood sweetheart, Sam; together they have a dog named Buster and a heart for the church!
Committed to Christ, Angie is passionate about living in the presence of God; studying and sharing truths from God's Word; and encouraging others with the hope Christ gives.
Angie enjoys being involved in various ministries and overseeing Women’s Ministry at Church for the Harvest. She and her husband Chad reside in the Alexandria area.
Kim & Joel Boutain
Kim grew up in a home that instilled God's word and principles within her. In 1990 she became a youth
worker and has continued in mentoring and leading youth since that time.
Her nursing license was earned in 1995 and she also obtained her Bachelors and Masters of Arts in youth ministry through the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology in 2005-2008.
Kim loves music and going to concerts with youth in her free time. Her greatest desire is to see youth KNOW Jesus Christ and who they are in Him.
Joel, her husband of 22 years, will also be joining the youth leader team in mentoring our youth. Joel is a local business owner in Alexandria with his two brothers. Joel and Kim reside in Hoffman with their
two amazing children, Morgan and Brett.
Katy finds great joy in serving as the Children’s Director at Church for the Harvest. She sees children as an active part of the church today and desires to encourage, empower, and equip them to live vibrant, passionate lives for Christ. She loves teaching God’s truth and seeing people come to know who God is, just how much He loves us, and the unique way He made each of us. She graduated from Bethel University, spent a year as a missionary in South Africa, and pursued her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy through Liberty University. You’ll often find her running, writing, creating, reading, traveling, eating white chocolate, playing with her Vizsla puppy Boaz, and hanging out with her drummer husband, Ryan.
